About SPECTRUM CONNECTS!
Music Without Boundaries
SPECTRUM CONNECTS! is our community outreach initiative, bringing professional chamber music directly to neighborhoods and communities throughout Tarrant County and beyond. Through partnerships with libraries, community centers, and other public venues, we make chamber music accessible to audiences who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience live classical performances.
Our specialized ensembles perform a diverse repertoire designed to engage and inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of chamber music.

Spectrum Winds
Woodwind Quintet
Known for their spirited performances, they love to captivate audiences of all ages with whimsical favorites like Peter and the Wolf. With each musician adding their unique spark, they'll have you toe-tapping, laughing, and humming along in no time!
Prevailing Winds
Wind Trio
This trio of oboe, clarinet, and bassoon offers an engaging program of music that ranges from light classical to dances to popular movie music.
Quartet Chromatica
String Quartet
The combination of two violins, viola, and cello, perfectly encapsulates the range and warmth of the human voice, which helps explain why the string quartet has been the most popular type of chamber music ensemble for centuries. In addition to the flagship Mostly Mozart concert, two seasonal programs have been added: Spooktacular Strings and A Visit from St. Nick.

Tango Quintet
This quintet of 2 violins, viola, cello, and bass focuses exclusively on the music of Tango, showcasing the musical passion that has evolved to become an artistic expression all its own.
Panther City Trio
String Trio
Our ensemble features violin, viola and cello performing rarely heard masterpieces from the last 300 years. Join us in our exploration of these genius composers using this unique combination to create beauty, color and texture.
